How many medals do they give out is it 6, or 9 as in a 9 to run 6 to score. Also can you win the 6man team and the 9man team? some of the Leeds guys will know this.

Obviously you can 'win' the 6 and 9 to score contests, but not sure theres a trophy for 'winning' the 9 man event. I believe there is a cup for the first 9 man team that hasnt medalled in the 6 to score event, or something like that.
The 9 to score trophy goes to the first team outside the top 3 in the 6 to score. No medals awarded with this.
Bedford guys are staying near the Metro centre on Saturday and heading into Newcastle for the nightlife. Anyone got any particular pub/venue where we can celebrate our victory?
Anyone know if the Leeds guys are staying up for Sat night?
The gate is the place to be on saturday night - nice curry in the spice cube followed by some cheap drinks in lloyds onto Mood for some dancing then into aspers for some late night betting and free sandwhiches!!
alternatices = the gate then onto tiger tiger, or the area between central station and bar 55. stay away from the bigg market unless you want to get knived!!
the gate's good if you're looking for fights and 17 yr olds p1ssed out their head.
The Notts lads will be out celebrating victory, your all welcome to help us on saturday night.
watch out for NEB
I'd suggest concentrating on the race first rather than worrying about who will get a medal!
But for the record the 6 scorers get one. Can't remember what happens for the 9 man thing but there's also trophies for the leading team from each area. If you do well you can come home with all sorts of paraphernalia. We came home on the train last year covered in mud and with ruddy great trophies everywhere and it caused quite a stir!
No plans for Leeds to stay over that I know about. It's not all that far home.
Seems there's a few clubs fancying their chances. I'm looking forward to it! See you all next weekend.
is Walsh fit for Leeds and is Talbot coming back home for Notts ?
Morpeth have been quiet. What shape are their lads in ?
Will be running aiming for a top 100 position. Should be in shape as I did a good 6 mile tempo today in 32 minutes.
Are NEB stronger than they were in the Southern?
Anyone now about Sale, Tipton, & Wells?
What about the laydeees?
Is Damon running? Who else? Who's going to be fighting it out for the teams?
I'm going for sale and a win for Sonia Thomas - she's smoking!!!!!!
I think the clever money's on Yelling. And I mean Hayley or Liz. I favour Liz.
will be interesting to see who wins trafford 10k tommorrow ment to be a top field, id say whoever wins that should be in with a chance form wise

I think you should camp there for the week and provide hour by hour updates!
How muddy do you think it will be on a scale of 1-10?(where 1 is a golf course and 10 is a flanders battlefield)
Can I camp there with this runnerbabe gal?It would be one way of keeping the cold out and I promise to give hour by hour updates!!
Any words of wisdom regarding the course? Is it dry or wet? Muddy or grassy? What are the views of the local club runners?
