Just looking for advice to help me recovery quicker because just about every muscle in my body is quite sore today and i want to get back to full training fresh with important meets in 10 and 11 days time.

It's important after a tough session to hit the ice tub, as it'll help speed your recovery. Also, if you're not pushing lots of fluids, you should be--it'll help flush the bad stuff out of your muscles. Keep stretching 2-3-4 times a day, and if you aren't already running a quick shakeout in the morning, start now. An 18:00-21:00 5k on some grass to start your day will help loosen you up and you'll recover more quickly.
Also, if you have access to any kind of massage therapy, by all means seek that out.
also recovery drinks like endurox and accelerade (a combination of carbs and protein) taken within an hour or so after your run will definitely help with a quicker recovery after a hard effort.
