Which is better for mesuring out coures that I run. I want to measure with good accuracy as I do lots of tempo type runs and I want to spray paint markers every half mile. For some reason walking long distances with a wheel seems like a pain in the ass but I will do it if the GPS isn't accurate enough. Are GPS accurate on roads with no trees covering? How about trails that are completely covered with trees? I've heard that GPS wont work in that situation. GPS are a little more expencsive($90 vs $60) for the GPS at Target and the wheel at Home Depot. But the GPS has more uses (like stealing spots when I go fishing:) I'd like to hear any experiences with GPS if you've tried them. Thank-you.
