Hi,
Got a question here (don't know the answer, but curious)
What is the largest deficit a team has ever had to overcome in a World Cup game? My friends and I are thinking 2-0, but maybe 3-0?
Thanks in advance to anyone that knows.

Portugal were 3-0 down to North Korea in the '66 QF and won 5-3. Not sure if this is the record though.
Thanks very much, anyone else?
the biggest deficit this year was the ivory coast - saudi arabia game where the ICs went down 0-2 in the first 20 minutes and then came back to take the game.. .. not that it mattered though because both were out regardless.

Having lived in Germany, I am a fan of them. I was still nervous that brazil would come back and win when they were up 5-0
