looks like they're doing 200's now. Is that night correct? What is supposed to be going on?
I'm looking at the chronoloog thing on their site, and it says something like for 13:30 to 17:00 it is over 20 amateurs or something, then under 20 amateurs, then the real meet opens at 17:20, although it looks like the first pro race is at 18:15. I don't know the time difference between Hengelo and the east coast, but it's probably 6 or seven hours so the real meet won't start for a few hours.
The 1500 is the first race which I want to see is on at 19.25 which is British Summer time +1.
If you are on the east coast i think the Netherland are +6 ahead of you. So the 1500 should be at 13.25 east coast time.
Ok, just checked for what time zone they're in, right now it is 15:19 there, so just about 3 hours for the real meet to begin. The 10k is in 4 and a half hours.
Where is the link to this stream? I used the search function and couldn't find that damn thread.
the link is on the front page
just watched a riveting 1:57 800 (guys)
I try to load it and the page comes up and says "ready" with the media player open and all. It has been there for 15 minutes and there is nothing new.... anyone else having this problem.
Also, this is my second attempt at loading it.
nope, works fine for me...they've got some lame singer trying to entertain the crowd now
anyone have the results?i thought the race would be over by now
i got it...there was a dutch woman singing gloria estefan
Is the audio really fast
When the 10k does start up can someone who is watching throw some updates on this thread? For some reason the site does not like me...
thanks a lot.
will do .... no prob.
I have wcsn and the website for the meet...
Anyone else find the streaming to be out of wack on the Hengelo website... i get fast audio and the buffering is screwed up
Thanks a lot.
the conditions are windy ... french chick won the hurdles in 12.79.. commentator said the wind was coming in from the side...
If it doesn't work the first time, try it again. It took me a couple of attempts before it worked. And for everyone too lazy to look it up themselves, the time in Amsterdam right now is 18:22, (I'm assuming it's the same time at the meet). (A good website for this is timeanddate.com.) According to the schedule the 10k race goes off at 19:45. The streaming is not perfect. It does stop and freeze frequently.
Thanks for the tip, but it still does not work for me. I right click on the screen and go to "error details". It tells me I must be connected to the internet to get the video feed. Obviously I am connected to the internet.
Any ideas?
Also, it will not let me access the media player web help section.... so it must be something in the media player.
women's 5k is starting. So the Dutch word for twelve is twelve? That's the only thing I understood when the announcer was speaking about the race.
