Is there a conversion to see what my VO2 max would have been in my younger years ?
Is there a conversion to see what my VO2 max would have been in my younger years ?
There's no such conversion, and it doesn't matter anyway. There are modestly accomplished athletes who blew big VO2 scores and world champions that had modest scores. A high score shows that you can process oxygen quickly but says nothing about running economy, leg speed, or mental toughness.
Thank you!
Similar to that of a humpback whale
One of the sure ways to go wrong quickly is focusing on v02 max scores. I think garmin is at fault here for putting it on the front of the watch like it's some super important metric.
Run faster? Your v02max will probably be higher than it used to be. Run slower? probably be lower
