His little son also ran. America's next big distance running hope? Imagine the top tier coaching Zuckerberg could pay for.
Ah, doping. That would explain it.
You are all delusional. Who the hell dopes to run 7:00 pace. like the other half of you have said, that's not very hard or impressive. Nobody on this site knows anything about anything and your perception of the world is funny as hell.
2024 Stanford Medicine My Heart Counts 5K and Kids Fun Run - Stanford, US - Join us for the 2024 Stanford Medicine My Heart Counts 5K an - April 21, 2024
From the bib number in his pic, he entered as "Martin Salzburg".
I ran it, but didn't notice him. Honestly not a good event for running fast, so the time is certainly "legit". Narrow start with huge mob of kids. 80 feet uphill for the first 1.5 miles. And the whole course is mostly running on sidewalks and in bike lanes around the Stanford campus. You have to watch your footing and there isn't much space to pass or be passed.
21 min flat, 5 months off of an acl tear. Have to admit I’m impressed, not bad for a 40 year old hobbyjogger
He is a poser and a bad person. I am not saying this because of his financial status I am saying this because of how he treats people.
I’m sure you personally know him, but let’s all chant tech guy bad bc that’s what our dying news industry is shoveling down our mouth to get upvoted on the interwebs. Zuck has always socially awkward tech savant who has to deal with tech-illiterate vogons that cast him in a bad light. Is he stupid rich? Yes. Do people have an unhealthy relationship with Meta products that maybe is perpetuated by Meta? Yes. Do most companies in our society seek to perpetuate unhealthy relationships with their users? Pretty much. Do you not understand how advertising works or how engineered your bag of Doritos is? You optimize for your KPIs and then you damage control. Ask yourself if you understand the difficultly of moderation at scale.
I for one enjoy don’t use Facebook or Instagram (so maybe I just don’t understand the harm), but I enjoy living in a world that I can look for a niche object and buy it on Facebook marketplace the next day, and use all of the open source software that meta provides(PyTorch, React, Llamas, …
My point still stands - 40 is not old. 21 minutes is not fast.
Agree.
Zuckerberg looks like a typical skinny distance runner to me. It's not hard for someone with the genetics to run 21mins off a month's interval training and a few distance runs.

He runs a platform that's incited suicides, depression, anxiety, mental illness, bullying, photo shaming, and much more.
How does the platform incite this? This is just called the internet. The town square has shifted to a place where we all can log on. This was going on way before Facebook. The spaces were just much less accessible. Some people legitimately should legitimately just not log on. I don’t, but it isn’t something we should just burn down either. Once again, moderation is a really hard problem of balancing legitimate hate speech censorship and free speech. This has always happened, but now things are a little more transparent. Remember the wise words of Tyler the creator
He had a chip time of 20:58. He's still 39 though. He turns 40 in a couple weeks according to Wikipedia. That's fast enough to win the Masters races at many a small local 5k.
Did you miss the part about being only 5 months away from a torn acl? I stand by that this is pretty impressive, even with access to the best surgeon and rehab

You think Lance got ball cancer naturally? lmao.
Who dopes to run a seven minute mile? If anyone does, it is an egomaniacal goon who looks like he suffers from extremely low testosterone and then simultaneously seems jazzed about growing a beard at the age of 39.
