If you get mad at boss/mgmt at your job and quit, how do you take the high road &resist the temptation to say bad things on the way out?
i’ve struggled with this over the years. I always took the highroad, even if they didn’t deserve it then sometimes on Nextdoor, I would complain but worry about whether they could figure out it was me complaining on Nextdoor, depending on the size of the company…. if it’s a very small company that can narrow down the Nextdoor review to you if you say anything negative about the company after having left etc.
in terms of networking opportunities in your future it’s usually best to take the high road and just keep thoughts and frustrations with how much the job sucked to yourself , especially after you’ve left because there’s nothing to be gained. Just curious experiences with all of us as young adult trying to navigate the work world and trying to climb the ladder in some profession, it is an interesting topic to manage.
