Hi guys , was wondering what people thought was a realistic time for a marathon at the end of may?
Recent training sessions
5X 3km @ 3:30 1km float (160bpm)
15 X 1km (60s) @ 3:24 (164bpm)
6,5,4,3,2,1km @3:38 with 1km floats (152bpm)
i ran a 77 min half marathon about 2 weeks ago in windy conditions where I didn’t push in the second half as it was close to the start of my peak weeks. Could i hold this half marathon pace for the whole marathon or is that too optimistic ?
