I purchased the Nike Dragonflies last season and love them, but I plan on leaning more into the speed side of things (I come from a distance background and I still plan on running the 1600, I just am changing my focus from big mileage to fast speedwork) this winter/next season and am wondering if the Dragonflies are still usable for distances like the 400 and 800. I've read a bit about them not being aggressive enough; will this significantly hinder my performance in the 4/8, or is it not that big of a deal? I am a HS senior looking to run sub 50 and sub 1:54, if that means anything in this discussion. Obviously I'm not at the elite level so I probably shouldn't be obsessing over something as trivial as whether or not I'm using a 1500m+ spike for shorter distances, but I am just curious to hear any personal anecdotes you all might have. If you do use or have used the dragonflies for these distances, could you list your prs as well? Thanks!
