I'd like to personally invite you to come race at The NXR NW Course @ Eagle Island. 16:11 and 16:31 are historically very solid for 4/5 type runners on NXN auto qualifying teams. Crater and Jesuit have proven they are Top 5 programs by having 5 man averages of 15:35 and 15:43 on Eagle Island's course. For reference....North Central in 2008 was the NXN Champ and Number 1 team in the Nation all year long, that squad averaged 15:48 at NXR that year. Bozeman in 2016 ended up winning NXN, they averaged 15:53 at NXR that year.
Rocky Mountain finished close enough to Jesuit to be in contention for an at-large spot. All anyone is looking for is a legitimate reason stated publicly as to why the 4 at-large teams are chosen and why other at-large teams are not. Time to re-structure clear criteria with transparency of who this mystery NXN Committee is, because leaving things unknown as they currently are, makes it easy to simply assume Rich Gonzalez is going to show California Bias (even if that may not be the case).
