I will start.
Rocky Mountain ID.
Honestly, I think they can beat all teams that were chosen.
Only lost to a top 5 team in the nation by 28 points at NXR
They also beat Great Oak at Bob Firman

Who cares? Most NXN qualifiers couldn't even qualify for the California State Championships.
Would have been great if they gave FM girls an at large
Flower Mound? They already got it
Fayetteville Manlius? Hopefully Aris learned his lesson to at least have his girls race at NXR no matter what, even if 2 people are injured. You never know who will surprise you. What if someone from the second best team has an off day?
I’m sure the criteria was met, but it just seems suspect that CA got 2 bids for both boys and girls. Are they really THAT much better?
On the boys side….
NP, Great Oak and Granada were all ranked in the top 10 before the season started.
Woodbridge = Granada beat San Clemente / Great Oak
Clovis= San Clemente beat Granada / Great Oak
CIF = Great Oak beat Granada / San Clemente in the merge
This shows how even these 3 are, and if a state has a second best team in US history, that state is taken seriously
Girls side….
Did Campolindo beat any autoqualifiers? Were they ever ranked?
The committee probably knew the depth of this region and felt the need to get JSerra in because they have raced well all season
Wasn't happening. Didn't attend NXR. Didn't race outside of their Section all season, for that matter. No chance of that.
Or Jesuit LA, so that they would have gotten on their senses and raced the REAL national meet
Where is the announcement?
Any girls teams got snubbed?
Yes, we finally agree 👍

Losses count for zero. Beating qualifying teams head to head "Trumps" rankings as rankings are subjective. Great Oak finished as a #2 auto qualifier, Downers Grove beat a #1 qualifier. Rocky Mountain stays home devastated.
Can you answer why Rocky Mountain is staying home devastated though? They had a head to head win over Great Oak at Bob Firman, which was their only chance to beat an other region team. Nobody has answered specifically what those 4 teams that were selected did that Rocky Mountain failed to do.

A lot of the teams have to race prelims and finals at Mt. SAC just to make it to the state meet. Compare that to teams from smaller states, who essentially get to dominate in splendid isolation, have their state meet in October, and then get a month to prepare for NXN like it's a friggin Bowl Game. Some of these teams wouldn't have the stamina to make it through the rounds.
Honestly I think that Shelter Island from Long Island New York was snubbed big time. Being a Class D school in the New York classification of sizing had all odds against them, but they are real threats.
Why though? wrote:

Great Oak must have had an off day at Bob Firman. Appears that they did run all of their 1-7 there, but they lost to some Southwest teams that were never ranked, and didn’t place high at NXR.
They did peak at state though.

Lol about that…the NY autoqualifiers wouldn’t have gotten top 5 in the merge in CA
When are the at-large individual qualifiers going to be announced??

When everyone accepts or declines an at-large bid
