Well Katelyn got tripped last year under mysterious circumstances and Diljeet Taylor was later seen in the libary with the candlestick.

NC State figuratively did that to Flotrack 2 weeks ago. So if there is a team capable of it, it is them.
Beat Tuohy by 30 seconds? lmao!! This Valby overhype is hilarous.
Tuohy beat Chelangat by about the same time as Valby, but on a 5k.

What does this even mean?
Some of you seem to think that runners are locked into the same time forever. Will Tuohy ever run another PR?
Like she did all of last spring and this year at ACCs?

Dude I don’t care who wins this race. I just exposed you as a LIAR when you said NC State or some team was going to intentionally try to clip or trip another runner. You have been outed as an ignorant troll.
Don’t underestimate flatlander’s ability to race well on hilly courses. There are inclines available for training most everywhere, including Florida.

Are you effing crazy??? The largest margin of victory at the NCAA champs for women has to be when Vicky Hueber beat McGovern in the late 80s or Kipeygo beat Jenny Simpson in 2006. And those were not 30 seconds. No way Tuohy get beat by 30 seconds against a girl who she beat multiple times on the track less than 6 months ago.
IT'S VALBYMANIA!!!
Yes. Like that. That is the point. People claim that the margin of victory is based on races from last year or last month but runners change. Some improve greatly.

Earlier this week, when were talking about NCAAs on the podcast, it was pointed out that Valby is from Florida and is used to running flat courses. NCAAs this year is most definiitely not flat.
Valby fans, my question for you is simple. Has she ever run a hilly race in her life in HS or college? How did she do? Do we have any idea as to whether she will do well on a hilly course?
Rojo, when was the last time you interviewed Chris Solinsky? This has nothing to do with the topic, buy I have not seen any interviews from anyone with Chris. Does he not want to talk to the media?

Isn't Terra Haute somewhat hilly? Jenny Simpson placed 2nd twice on that course and she is from just north of Orlando.

Lol there are no hills in Florida
Clermont. Look it up. Plenty of hills and hill running in central Florida to the west of the Mouse. Bridges and overpass hill running takes place along the coast.
You can supplement hills with weight training. Actually it’s better because you avoid the negative effects of downhill running and it’s high injury risk.

Since only one person mentioned this I will repeat their wisdom. Whether Valby can run hills or not she also has to do it in pretty cold weather. Weather that Touhy grew up running in. I think this is a big enough factor to make it at least as important as "can she run up and down hills".
