My strategy was to get an education so that I can just buy whatever shoes I want whenever I choose without worrying about whether they're on clearance.
TBH, I can never resist buying the newest model of the shoe I want. It seems I can usually get them on a small sale somewhere.
I go to the NB outlet and buy a few pair for $60 each. What’s the big secret?
1) have unusual size of feet (less competition for sales…by definition, most of us don’t fall into this category)
2) don’t care about colors of shoes (easy enough!)
3) buy 2 or 3 (or more?) pairs - maximize that good deal if you know they are good shoes!
I haven’t seen many deals lately, but then I don’t shop for shoes as often as I used to.
I search the brand and size and check the price on all running sites. Find the lowest and then see if there is a coupon available to add on. Also flexible on color. I think you can also put a price watch on an item in google shopping.
