Interesting. I don't think you're much of an insider. In ontario track circles some folks were saying very different things. Way back in December/January I heard the Staffords weren't going to go up to Flagstaff because of Shelby being there and were waiting on assurances of separation before going. That lines up with what GDS said in her interviews after she left.
The story post departure was that apparently Shelby was at the gym with the team multiple times a week lifting weights same time as everyone, she was at the track at the same time as the team just that the team would be times by one coach while another timed Shelby, meeting up with the women for 2-3 easy runs a week plus long runs, and when she went to Flagstaff she didn't just run with the women regularly but also the team's full time physio lived with her and would treat athletes in that house too.
GDS didn't mention those details to the media because she didn't want the details to trigger an investigation. She just said enough so that people would understand it was fair for her to leave. If anything, she actually went easy on BTC and could have really thrown them in hot water.
Anyway, that stuff is all pretty easily verifiable for LRC, Gault, Rojo Wejo etc to figure out. Ask BTC athletes were they at the gym at the same time as Shelby, did they long run with her, how many easy runs did they do with her, did she live with their physio in Flagstaff etc. Basically as soon as they say "no comment" you know it's true.
"You're just a random on LR" - sure, but again, let the journalists ask the questions of the athletes. The people I hear this stuff from definitely run in circles where they could hear legit info on this.
