Hill 10.19
Goodwin 10.08
10.08 is faster than a 10.19 Dinosaur Jr.

10.19 was a HS time, now think....ok?
Great research. What about the running back that the Ravens drafted. Texas high school track. He is promising athlete but got hurt this year.
Got the Ravens last draft right here in my hands, who????
J K Dobbins La Grange High School. Don't know if he ran track at Ohio State. Can't find all of his best High School times being recorded.
I have the position that he is the fastest talent wise based off his 20. 14 in high school. Anyone I've ever argued against has always brought other players college times or after they were a pro runner which isn't s fair comparison. Plus he's a football player first and track athlete second which puts him in his own category as opposed to the fast guys that have like 10 career catches
I think you need to account for the fact some guys lose less speed when loaded up with pads/helmet and holding a ball on grass with cleats on.
Yeah he was a 10.74 guy which isn't all that if talking real speed.

Yes. By a lot.
His game speed is right up there with prime Desean Jackson. Probably a little faster.
Darrell Green, a Redskin for 19 years, ran 10.08 and 20.47 at Texas A I. He supposedly ran a 4.09 in the 40 one time !
I can't speak to Tyreek Hill's speed relative to all the great speedsters in NFL history but I have always considered Darrell Green to be right up there near the top.

Without looking it up, name a tight end who also had the National HS record in the Javelin? After TB.
The guy was a 3 time Pro-bowl and played with the 49ers and Patriots.
Russ Francis who's dad was a pro rassler promoter in Hawaii.
Green did have a 10.08 but that wasn't what he usually ran, he was more 10.2id as we see here.....
1982

He never really did anything in track. Ah....he is however the fastest DB,
Is he right?
Yes. After a couple all-pro NFL seasons Francis quit to become a broadcaster. Bill Walsh went to visit and convinced him he had his whole post-NFL life to do that. He returned to the 49ers and won a super bowl ring.

Laughable!
Deon? Not even the fastest DB ! (Darrell Green)
Moss?;? Might be the fastest NFL QB, sure.
Try Mr. Hayes,
Bob Hayes
WRs @ 60y, 70y, 100y, 220y
9.9 for 100m on cinder track in 1966 (+2.0, wind)
Gold medalist
Joined the Cowboys after T&F gold.
The only Super Bowl ring and Gold medalist ever.
Clocked @ just shy of 30 mph on radar, the fastest ever human recorded

Trindon Holiday was faster. 10 flat in the 100m. 2nd at USA outdoors (beat Dix). He only played a couple of seasons but he is alway overlooked. Hill's best in junior college was a wind aided 9.98. (+5 m/s). That's a fair comparison.
