I think people should realize that easy running should be exactly that. If i ran easy at 4:20-4:00min/km the aerobic gains would be similiar but the impact force and recovery time would increase. I think it is important that the difference between harder training and easy training is clear.
Kipchoge starts his easy runs at 5:30min/km and averages around 4:30min/km.
