Let's see how this plays out. This should be interesting. I hope he stands his ground and the team suffers.

Yawn. A private organization made a rule and one of its employees failed to follow it. If he doesn’t like it he can find another job. Next

Was it a private organization that made the rule or was it the City of San Francisco? I believe NYC has that same rule and that Knicks and Nets players will need to be vaccinated to play their home games. Visiting players do not have to be vaccinated to play in NYC or San Francisco. At this point Wiggins can play in NYC and Kyrie Irving can play in San Francisco but they can not play in their own cities.

Small government is a tenet of Conservatism. Don’t like the rules of the small and limited government? Then find a different team to play for!
Follow the rules or face the consequences. Law and order

Except he has a guaranteed contract worth $30 million per year.
I imagine the league would probably win in court unless he's already had Covid and the league doens't recognize that. I could see a court then siding with him but not otherwise.
He said he's not going to take it unless forced to so I imagine this will result in him getting it.

under 30 years old. perfect health. He is not in a danerous category.
I personally don't have that kind of fight in me. I've been vaxxed because I don't want to get quarantined and have to miss a meet, get denied entry to a football game, etc.
I wouldn't blame them if they banned Andrew Wiggins from all their games given how he's played throughout his career.

No it was a city rule the warriors have to abide by. Refused to give an exemption for religion. One of the key tennant's of progressivism is you much attack religion because it's something that gives people community.

I’m glad you support this decision. Bart is finally realizing this type of action must be done so we can get through this.

It's literally SAFER for healthy people to NOT get the vaccine. COVID will give him a sore throat for 3 days. The vaccine could have dozens of side effects that are not even known yet. Most people I know have felt sicker from the vaccine than from actually getting COVID.

"The vaccine could have dozens of side effects that are not even known yet."

Yes, and unlike the NFL the NBA does not require vaccinations and the Warriors do not require vaccinations.
Wiggins has the right to refuse, but the issue is that he is only hurting his team that likes him as a player and wants to keep him as well as the team's fans. So the Warriors are caught between a rock and a hard place. They may end up having to trade him to a team other than the Nets or Knicks. Now that Simmons has stated he will not report those Simmons for Wiggins trades rumors may not be so much as just chatter anymore.
Religious reasons? There's no reference to vaccines in the Bible:

Not all religions take the Bible as their source book.

This is racist on its face. And yet people deny that the vaccine requirements are racist.
