I would like to see the science that says you are at a high risk of getting covid while running outside.

Mask wearing and other "COVID protocols" are a religion. Zero science.
Jamin, are you a Q guy? Just Fox? Where do you get your daily dose of bullsh*t?

Google “mask efficacy study” or something.
With "disinformation" filtered from the results, naturally. Circular logic.
All anyone needs to do is remember when Fauci said don't wear masks, then said he lied about that to avoid a shortage of medical supplies. Only problem is, he and his ilk now say any old rag will do. If that were true, they'd have said wear any old rag, right from the start.
The lie started when he said wear masks, and he never did cobble together a coherent narrative for why he didn't before.
Isn't he a Middle School teacher?

Everyone encouraging masks while racing /running is an utter coward. There is no arguing with people who believe it's the right thing to do. Just utter disdain

Apples. Oranges.
This isn't surgery. It's cross country - and it's OUTDOORS.
I'm an RN and even I don't think there is any value in having kids run through the woods in masks. Before? Fine. After? Fine. During? Ridiculous.
Biden uses the same lame excuse to murder millions of White babies with abortion.

You can't be serious. If so perhaps you aren't as good of an athlete as you think.
I won't comment on hard efforts, but I notice almost no difference for easy efforts.
i'll admit i'm far from elite, but there is a possibility i may be more in tune with my body than you are to yours. Maybe you havent started sweating yet. A damp mask is no fun to breathe through. Or maybe your mask just has poor filtration to begin with.

In order for the rules to have maximum effectiveness they have to have maximum flexibility. Otherwise leadership is ineffective. Don't you understand anything?
I'm afraid to post these on FB for fear of violating "Community Standards."
I'm not even sure how long these will be up.
In fairness, a counter-argument to the goalposts being moved by Fauci is that the scientists are still learning about how this virus works, so that at least makes sense, even if I disagree.
I think you are thinking of Dr. Doug Frank, out of Cincinnati.

This.
I have two serious questions.
Are there any studies showing that COVID-19 has been spread EXCLUSIVELY from outdoor contact? Is there EVEN ONE documented case where COVID 19 has been proven to be spread by running or walking? Just one case? (If so, could someone provide a link? I research COVID a lot and I haven't seen one. Thanks in advance.)
I understand that viruses can theoretically be spread outdoors and thus the risk is not zero. On the other hand, we know that kids have died while running while wearing masks.
What I would REALLY REALLY like to see is people spending at least 10% of the time they spend talking about masks talking about vitamin D supplementation instead. The data on vitamin D is there. It's not a cure and it might not help once COVID 19 has gotten so bad it results in hospitalization, but meta-studies of hundreds of millions of people show a clear correlation between low D levels and severity/prevalence of COVID 19. All the high risk populations - elderly, obese, Blacks - share a common trait. They all tend to have very low vitamin D levels.
Vitamin D is considered deficient below 20ng/ml, insufficient between 20-29, and optimal over 30. My D level was 82 when tested last fall and I'll know in a few days what it is now. I take 5,000 IU of D3 daily.
I feel so strongly about vitamin D that I wrote Op Eds to major newspapers, but they weren't published. Sad.
Fisky, what has Vitamin D got to do with it?
Harambe, trashcan and 2600bro never discus it because it's not important. If it was important, don't you think they wood?
LOL at you. You didn't post one thing that refuted the links I posted to doctors on the front lines who actually have experience in this realm. Typical. Words, words, words. Blah, blah, blah. Your call to censor videos you don't agree with tells me about all I need to know about idiots like you. Wear your mask and social distance til you die if you want to, I don't care, and I won't try to censor you (always the argument of the weak-minded - OOH ! Get it away from me ! Delete it! I don't like that !). Just quit foisting your stupidity and naivete on the rest of us who have some functioning brain cells, decades of experience in analyzing health and medical data, and can engage in critical thinking.
