My stride length is tiny - about 1.1m on a standard easy run (with a cadence of about 175-180). Even when I’m going “fast” it only increases to about 1.25m and my cadence bumps up to about 190-200. I’m average height (5’10”). Either way a cadence that high with a stride length that short means I must be shuffling like mad.
I know I have insanely tight quads so probably am not hitting full extension. Aside from stretching, what can I do to increase stride length without bounding unnaturally to force it longer? Drills? If so, what could help...
