We give out foreign aid because it is in OUR interest. I know that is a difficult concept for Trumpers to grasp.
Especially as you only care about what is in Donny's personal interest. And to be fair, someone should audit everything to make sure Trump isn't planning a building permit application in Cairo.
Trump actually wanted to make the stimulus simple without all the added Pork&Politics. If we are going to spend the money anyways, give it back to the people.

How is giving Israel $40 billion in "OUR" interest?

News flash, if $600 is a lot of money to you, then you qualify to get it. Congrats.
I don't even want it. It's a huge waste of money but I'll have to repay it (and then some) when they have to raise taxes to 50% for the lowest bracket and 90% for the top bracket in 20 years to avoid bankruptcy, so I might as well take the small amount of money now and enjoy life while I can.
Yeah ... crazy that both parties now feel like they have authority to just hand out money. We’ll pay for this nonsense dearly at some point.
Time to vote them all out. And let all businesses get back to work.
Are you just making up numbers (again)? Or can you tell us when this $40b was allegedly provided?

My family will collect the full $2400, as will most people I associate with. I don't need it, and would have been more in support of no bail outs from the government.
Take the money and spend it at businesses that could use the help. That is what my wife and I did.
You entirely miss the point of what the check is supposed to be used for. SPEND IT at businesses where the workers could use the help. (We spent all of the checks, and more, on creating a home work office for my wife that has computers, chairs, desk, monitors, and such, similar to what she has at work.)
Your post is exactly why I hate the stimulus, despite the fact that I benefit from it.
I am not sure what I loathe more, mindless consumers who need the stimulus to clear their mortgage or "give their kids Christmas" or people like you who have this idea that they need to consume to keep the economy going.
Fellow Americans...save more, consume less and resist the urge to compete with others via spending habits!
