Nobody outside of letsrun knows Bowerman or New Balance, for that matter.

Can't Stand Tinman wrote:
I can't stand Tinman. Tinman is a radical leftist who believes in taking the easy way out- i.e. high mileage and "moderate, consistent" (CV) workouts.
The indisputable fact of the matter is that CV pace is extremely dangerous and inefficient. The vast majority of runners why try Tinman "training" end up injured and never reach their potential. Just look at Drew Hunter who has been injured for 3 of the last 4 years. No athlete in Tinman Elite will EVER win any olympic gold medal.
Tinman refuses to accept the scientific truth that long, hard intervals on the track are the only way to maximize long distance performance. Furthermore, I can't stand how he shoves his world view down my throat. Tinman Elite could also be a little more humble in my opinion. Stick to running and keep politics off my strava feed!
MAGAKAG
10/10 well done representing the alt-right mindset.
Tinman is an elite post collegiate running group. More blue collar than some of the known powerhouses, letting people live out the dream who are maybe just off of national class caliber but are working hard to get there. They also know how to use social media, which drives select LRCers mad for whatever reason. Don't hate the player -- hate the game. People would rather watch their content & rep their merch than top elite athletes with no personality who we see/hear nothing from except when they show up to race twice a year.
Personally, I don't get the hate. It's 2020. Tinman & Beasts (w./ Athlete Special) are giving the people what they want even if a handful of LRCers are confused by it. Groups like Bowerman are catching up &, you probably could have guessed it, but they have a pretty big following too. Some of that comes from being more accessible through social media. NOP could really take a page from any of those groups and really rebrand their new team.
Tinman? Copy and paste and just find another name for it.lol
