I went to the Dr after recovering from injury and he weighed me on a scale record lb 215. I'm 6 4 but at most have been 195. It might be a true 211 accounting for shoes and human error in using a scale quickly. Anyways I know my long distance times will be effected but how bad is this for say the 8/1500 meters? I'd like to lean out some but retain or grow upper body muscle so realistically I might wind up a fit 205-210 at 32 years of age male. My last 1500 meter race was 4:50 but I was training for the 800. Do you think breaking 4:30 / 2:00 in the 800 will be possible without significantly dropping weight?
