I still run around noon, before lunch.
Splits up the work day.
In this extreme heat, I make the run shorter.
Morning 100%, most of the race's take place in the morning anyways & also you feel great thur the rest of the day!!!
100 push-ups!
100 Squats!
100 Sit-ups!
And a 10 Kilometre run!
Do that every day for 3 years!
Also, never turn on the AC in the Summer or heating in the winter. This will train your mental toughness.
Even when your arms start making those weird clicking noises, keep doing those push-ups. Eventually you'll start to lose your hair, but you'll notice your body achieving incredibly things.
morning for sure. its humid, but not too hot yet and evening you have humidity and everything is still warm from the sun
plus is thunderstorm time so morning is safer
runs are generally pretty slow for me, even workouts. body isnt woken up yet so first 2 miles are really sluggish but I kinda just accept it and run off of time and not distance. Workouts are also a bit slower usually but effort is there
yes
Definably morning. Usually out at 5:00 or 6:00am.. it's cooler in summer and less traffic on the roads. Plus, then I have time in the evening for family, chores, or just unwind and relax.
Definitely morning, but I'm a morning person on an early schedule. To me, "morning" means starting before dawn, which is always the coolest time of the day. "Evening" means no later than 9 pm, when it's usually still quite hot.

Doubles FTW!
I used to be a lunch runner at work, but with COVID I’ve got more flexibility, so I enjoy mid-mornings before it gets too hot. Workouts and long runs are early morning affairs, though - no question.
I will say that I’ve done some sunset runs lately, and those can be really nice. Good wildlife even in the neighborhoods near me - nothing beats a cool evening with a darkening sky and seeing some deer grazing or a flock of wild turkeys wandering across the road.
Amen to that brotha!
Mornings. First thing when I wake up. I work from home and I get all wrapped up in stuff, so by afternoon & evening I have too many loose ends.
morning always, less bugs in the park

Don't avoid it all the time. Heat training is great

Morning, which is particularly easy when working from home. I get up at 5:45, take the dog out briefly, grab a coffee and work for an hour or two, then run or cycle.
Mornings on my non-working days, evenings or treadmill on working days. It takes me too long to cool down and stop sweating
Mid-Afternoon. I also only run on days when the heat index is above 100 degrees.
Does anyone else feel slow and creaky in the morning? Even at 21 I could not run in the a.m. unless it was a race. After 35 years I still do all my running in late afternoon or evening, except for Saturday morning long runs when the high temperature will be 95+. CAN'T A.M.!
