Run more miles, suffer more, run smart, dream big.

My first mile time trial was 9:45 and my first 5k a few years later was 22 mins.

On your easy days you have to have the strength to actually run easy, and on your hard days you have to be brave enough to suffer.

Dont worry about talent, I have meh talent so I trained hard.

Run twice most days.

Do cross training.

Have a social life.

Don't talk about running.

Kiss girls.

Party.

Eat less.

Drink more coffee.

It's really tough out there right now; much of the country is in shambles. Did you enjoy your time at FootLocker? Are you still running? Do you want to continue running competitively?

If you answered yes to all three of those questions, then I think you should keep the race kit. The sentimental value, if running is going to be a lifelong sport for you, is practically off the charts. I've coached FootLocker Nationals qualifiers, and running has remained a huge, formative part of all of their lives. I was never a good runner, but the sport has largely shaped my life for the better. Yes, I realize money is tight, so I'm willing to send you some money to make ends meet. I'm hoping others on here would do the same.

If you could prove your identity, privately, I'd send you $15 if you agree not to sell the singlet and to treasure it always. Is anyone else on here with me? LetsRun can be a pretty miserable place sometimes, but I hope that we could come together to match whatever price you think you could get for the kit. Certainly there are a lot of well-established, older runners here. State your pledged amount and the total amount below!

haha I would be willing to do that, but i'm skeptical people would be willing to chip in. I don't like asking for handouts which is why i'm trying to sell the kit. I really appreciate it though. And yes I do believe I will run the rest of my life.

and i'm still running for a d1 team. got mono though so might not be very fit for cross

I totally forgot- I also have the backpack from nationals. SUPER cool design, yellow pink and orange with gold buckles. That could be available too.

Geez, my daughter just gave her backpack away. But the kit isnt for sale.

Update- Kit and backpack have sold. Thanks everyone for the interest and helping a flcc finalist-turned college runner out. My advice stands to all you highschoolers.
