Dude let it go, if you hate Americans than stop reading and posting on an American based website. If you feel that negative about a sport than please stop following that sport. Seriously a little less is sometimes BEST.
After Grant SHATTERS the 5000m indoor WR you really going to be upset. If pacers can get him close to 3000m on target, look for a massive WR!
I don't hate Americans - though I detest Trump and his Republican cult.
I use to enjoy a clean sport; it is no longer. I choose to call it out rather than ignore it - as much as you fans would prefer to do that. Pretending it isn't a dirty sport isn't going to make any of these performances credible.

So you choose to be an a$shole. Suits your personality.

You have not apparently seen all the threads and posts that call out doping. So everyone who hasn't got their head buried in the sand, as you have, is apparently an *sshole - to you.

You said it yourself. You only come here to rile people up. That's what an a$shole does, a$shole.
I was in Germany at the time of Jakob's run. Weather was tough in the sun and nowhere near optimal out of the sun that day, not just the heat. As for Dubai, that giant stadium had some kind of amazing a/c and fans despite being open, which made for excellent times, whether they had it swirling around counter-clockwise or just made it feel cooler.
It is true that the same temp but different sun position makes a difference. Try running in Florida when the sun is directly overhead and the temp is in the 80s even compared to a low humidity place in the 80s with the sun down or low in the sky. The FL run is absolutely miserable with an incredibly direct, intense sun, plus sweltering humidity already by 9 a.m. most days from March through November, whereas the other is nice, if slightly suboptimal.

The only people who are "riled up" are those who don't want to see what is in front of them.

Jakob never enjoys ideal conditions. Only other athletes do.

Wrong. Some of us are professionally involved with the sport and doping is something we have to deal with often. You rile people up by being yourself. An arrogant, ignorant know-it-all, who pollutes and derails countless threads with the same stuff every day, multiple times a day.

Kerr's 2 mile (8:00.67) is listed as exactly as good as Hocker's time (7:23.14) both at 1310 points. That is nonsense. Hocker's performance is definitely better.
Yes the 2 miles and the mile get too many points relatively to the 3000m and the 1500m respectively.
According to my rule of thumb there is about 35 sec between the 3000m and the 2 miles for the TOP RUNNERS. That means that Kerr´s 2 miles is equal to around 7:25.5 in the 3000m.
And Hocker´s 3000m is equal to around 7:58 low in the mile.
In the case of Fisher and Jakob the difference is probaly only around 34 seconds between the 3000m and the 2 miles. Partly because they are faster and partly because - due to their superior endurance - the further 209.68 meters are less "expensive" for them.

A side note to my above post: What does Hocker´s sensational 3000m time equal to in the 1500m?
The indoor times are completely off compared to the outdoor times; there probably isn´t much difference between indoor and outdoor times these days if any at all AND yet the indoor times get much higher points than the same times outdoors.
To bypass that problem I have given Hocker´s 7:23.14 in the 3000m OUTDOOR points =1282 (El-G´s 7:23.09 time gave 1283 points). And that gives 3:27.37 in the OUTDOOR 1500m (equal to Morcelli´s PB)?!
And that again gives an outdoor mile time in 3:44. So Hocker who is possibly even faster in the 1500m/ mile than in the 3000m would without much doubt have destroyed Nuguse and the indoor WR had he run this distance last saturday. And he would most likely also have destroyed Kerr if he had been in the race.
So it is not only Jakob who has got his medal chances reduced in the 1500m. Also Nuguse and Kerr need to up their games significantly if they want to keep up with Hocker.
Finally: It will be interesting to see how fast Jakob can go in the Lievin mile thursday evening. I have a while ago predicted he would go at least 3:44.5 IF he has been healthy this year and if the pacemaking is good. But it is - as seen above - also necessary to run that fast to keep up with hocker.
Cole Hocker was ALSO under the previous World Record!!!
Atmosphere was wild. Best race I have ever seen
Agreed.
Fisher and Hocker. No shying away from each other. All guts for glory.
Both made for the race of the modern ages in US distance running.
When has there ever been a head to head match up between two American distance runners having three Olympic medals between them, owning countless American records, coming off of their best year ever?
