Rupp is a great runner. His problem is that he is one of the least likable great runners and he is coached by someone equally unlikable. So people try to minimize great performances like today's.

Guys, times do not matter at this point. All three races were slow for everyone. Rupp was close to a 2:06er today, place is all that matters at this point.

He was no were close to 2:06 let alone 2:04. Kirui just schooled a 26:44 10k runner.
