Why are there so many slow people who apparently started early and in the way of the pro women?
I think that is by design. "Bravey" Pappas started in the early group. When the female leaders blow by her, it will give her a chance to get some camera time. Also, the commentators can point her out and maybe even get an in-race interview with her.
Anecdotal, but I think Rupp is feeling fine with no back issues. I've had a lot of back issues and when it is injured ortight I would do a lot of stretching/hip rotation/etc almost right up until the gun.
When I’ve watched videos of Japanese marathons, they show the running time clock and also show the distance that they’ve run so far, via GPS from the lead vehicle. It’s seems so basic, I don’t know why American coverage doesn’t do that. It means you can figure out their splits which is very convenient.
Really? I tune in to see the actual race, not all this b.s. about "50,000 champions today." No disrespect, but I don't watch the NFL to see touch football games in the pregame tailgates. Show the leaders, please
