Thanks! Hope Jonathan and BroJos can confirm. I’ll check them out!
They eliminated the outsole, but it is still 8.5oz in size9-men?
The sticky midsole foam is Dow Corning what?
I’ll weigh my pair. There’s no blown rubber, the midsole and outsole are there same (pretty grippy) compound. I did take on a couple rocks/pieces of glass, but I’m in Chicago and run primarily sidewalks where there is a lot of junk. For a race, probably not a huge concern.
My only advice would be to size down at least .5; I’m hoping UA can send a second pair since I love the shoe but the 8.5 is probably more like a 9.25.

Interesting, but what about folks with wide feet?
It looks like it is shaped for a natural gait, better than VaporFly. It has a carbon plate? How does the energy return compare?

It’s a pretty high-volume upper, for sure, but I don’t remember it feeling particularly wide. I don’t have a clue if UA makes wide versions of their shoes - can investigate.

Can't wait to hear more about how slow American times were today with temps in the 70s & a 60s dew point.
As far as Fauble's times go -- his 2:08 PB is from Boston & he pretty much only runs NYC/Boston/Olympic Trials. He's really just gone after a fast marathon once in his career (Marathon Project- out in 2:08 pace, finished with a 2:09). & he's only gone after a fast half once & ran 1:01 in January in Houston. If he ran Berlin/London every year since 2016 & went out in 1:03-1:04 he'd have faster PBs. Probably something around 2:07ish. 2:13 & top-10 is a strong effort today. 2:10 got on the podium. You can't possibly just read his 2:13 today as a 2:13. Same with the American women -- the top-5 crushed it today.

Why is it so hard to find a list of the top 100 finishers? It just shows top 5 on the app. This isn’t just an issue with NYC. I don’t get why it’s so hard to find the top 100 finishers for pretty much all marathons nowadays. It used to just be on their website. Can’t even easily find top 10 anymore. It’s very frustrating

ESPN does not have a live camera following the non binary leader. Unacceptable levels of bigotry on display from this network in the sport’s biggest moment since Bolt’s 2008 100m world record.

Bro shut up lol. Y’all are more obsessed with non-binary people than actual non-binary people
The new plated flat is quite good. Sizing is wonky, though.
Which model. Was Lokedi in them today? was hard to tell on phone screen. 🤷♂️
Velociti Elite I believe, sizing is wonky as noted by Albertos Dog… my pair is about 0.5-1.0 too big with a massive toe box. Love them though, the roll is crazy- reminds me a bit of the Nike sprint spikes or new version of the victory’s. A tad heavier than my Vaporflys but more responsive and snappier for sure. Definitely getting another pair when they’re fully released although I don’t know if I’ll be wearing them for marathons they’re extremely aggressive
