Jonathan & BroJos. What just happened? What is the story within the race? Is Daniel accessible for questions??
Daniel is going to the hospital. Let's hope he didn't kill himself.

Wait he’s got back up and is running again. The wrong way.
and Rojo thought he had an amazing strategy going out hard. LOL
I didn't think it was amazing. But I do think you can win NYC that way. It's way more interesting than the rabbitted races.
I can't stand the scrolling live results at the top of the broadcast. Why ot show splits?
Hello, we can hear you on ESPN3.
They are coming back to Chebet! Great race for the finish.
First of all a terrorist joins in and no-one notices. Then the LEADER collapses on the floor and no-one notices that either?
Obiri belongs on the track. Not sure she can be a great marathoner considering every step she takes seems to take more of a toll compared to the other marathoners. Her cadence is too low to be a top tier marathoner.

Rojo: "Hi, I know you just dropped out of the race in epic fashion, but have to ask - what do you think about the race having prize money for the non-binary category?"
How in the world is Lokedi doign this? She's a 68:14 half pb. 31:11 woman?
I don't think we mentioned her name once in the preview podcast or in our race preview.

This isn't brave running, that was stupidity. 61 min first half on a hilly course in 75+ degree weather is a death wish
Saw him live at about 6 miles and thought he was a bandit!
I was loving the youtube feed but thank god for the TCS NYC app, it's the only way that I"ll see the final mile of the women's race apparently.
Salpeter for the win??

“What could have been in NYC”. <<An LRC article title, Jonathan! Try one in the style of Kenny Moore.

That was fun. They went to commercial but kept the commentating on ESPN3 so I could hear what the announcers were saying on break.
I've been listening to them throughout race, quite interesting conversations!!
I think he was trying to "bank time". Always a savvy strategy in the Mary.
Lokedi winning would be a huge huge upset. Under a mile to go in women's race and she lead by 10 meters.
Chebet looks like he is going to be caught. Kitata has made up a lot of ground on him. and men have over 2 miles to go.

I wish they were EMT. Nope, just cops.
That's what happens when the NYRR cheaps out on medics and doesn't pay them.

A non-white guy, surrounded by American police officers ? His risk of being shot is 50%.
In Brazil he’s probably considered white
Lokedi using king Ches sit and kick tactics.

No, you can't win NYC going out at world record pace on a humid day. It is more interesting tho!
Is it too much to ask to have competitive runners? American men are too happy to be “top 10 and top American” without going for the win. Really sad
