Given his friend is a marathoner, I doubt throwing a discus around will make him any happier, especially while drunk, but then again I don't know much about field events.

His 100 countdown was an amazing collection of stories that I read each day. It was impressive. Some of them were inspiring. The guy is old for how hard he runs. When you are 46, have the stress of managing multiple running stories, have been running competitively all your life, have won just about ever important local race in your area, where once coach by Bill Dellinger, you try running a 2:35. Let me know how it goes k?
The stories he wrote in his countdown where really good and his end result just makes it all more real to me. He has seen it all, continues to run hard, and has dedicated his life to running.
