No splits but I think I saw the leader go thru 2 miles at 11 flat. Luckily I started my watch at the gun.

They said 11:09 for women's leaders through 2 miles though take those splits with a grain of salt as it includes the big uphill and then big downhill on the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge.
Netherlands' Ruth van der Meijden has a small gap in front of a huge lead pack right now.
Did they tell the runners to stay off the subways for their own safety?
Yup, uninterrupted with no commentary or commercials either. It's pretty good minus having to watch on your phone
For some reason, the live update has delays for some runners, unless D’Amato has gapped Bates and Des.
Thanks for the link
The women are killing their bottles rather than taking a hit and tossing.
17:15 5K, 2:25 pace.

Okay, makes sense, it’s now providing an estimated finish time.
A live stream gopro camera would make wheelchair coverage more interesting. No drama is an understatement.
17:15 for women's leaders at 5k. They're into Brooklyn now. 25 women in the lead pack.
