How many course marshals did you see on the broadcast. I saw zero.
I saw a few waving them inside of the hay actually. Funny how the athletes don’t seem to have an issue staying inside the line when an official is present 🤔
Who was the guy in red recording with his phone that was running alongside the leaders? Never seen a spectator keep up with the leaders lol. Also isn’t that pacing?

Around 5.5k and 7.5k (right before half the lead pack cut the course)
outside the lines was very tall grass. was it actually a benefit to cut?
In a lot of the spots people were cutting coaches and spectators had worn down the grass and it was definitely a benefit. Regardless it’s not up to you as an athlete to cut the course even if the benefit is not so large.
