Hope it's not the girl wearing her kit from gym class. Wonder what country that is.
Kelati just went down from the onsite screen.
Started raining by the billabong down here.
Way to go Max Sannes 21st place! This time last year, Max’s mile pr was only 4:24. Go Big Bear!
raining now.
Men's race moved up by 20 mins cause they think it's going to thunderstorm. I really wouldn't mind watching that. Like Prince at the Superbowl.
Man, I swear Kelati just has the worst luck. Hope she can rally.
Good, it's past my bedtime

this course is a joke.
I don’t want them to run on a manicured golf course but turning it into a novelty obstacle race isn’t the way to go either.
I disagree. I have raced cyclocross (bikes) and we often did courses like this. It was cool. It was interesting. The winner has to be good at: sand, mud, gravel, cornering, chicanes, hills, descents, barriers, and tight segments. That is how we found out who the best cross country cyclists were.
As a runner, I often wished our XC races were as interesting as the cylcocross races were. If our XC courses were "cooler" we'd certainly have more energy, fun, and spectators at our events.
I think the Australians did a good job on this!
