I didn't mean men vs. women. Just a big kudos to Kate because, as Brojos wrote in the preview, the 1-2-3 has been super stable all year, but Kate has been moving up the ranks steadily.

Given how inconsistent she's been, I think it would be real progress if she just ran this well again next year.

How about tomorrow? I say she'll be lucky to beat more than one of the other Zurich Gang. And Eccleston said she backed off the other night so she'd have some left for tomorrow.

She is fast enough, is distance based, and is light for her size, so my vote is Yes.

She admits her goal in college was to win the Ivy League championship. So when she turned pro, she had a lot of catching up to do.

Was that a win or a loss? She clearly isn't in the same league as Simpson or Muir (or Rowbury), but very few people are. Ditto for Kampf, and probably for Eccleston as well. But she's getting closer.

If she keeps this up, things behind Simpson and Rowbury next year could be much more interesting.
