LRC 2023 USA 5000s: Abdihamud Nur Wins His 1st US Title, Elise Cranny Completes 5k/10k Double

Nur was great over the last 1k as Woody Kincaid's big kick was nowhere to be seen and Grant Fisher was a DNS. The women's 5000 was a carbon copy of the 10,000 with Cranny a dominant winner.

Reigning US champ Cooper Teare was eliminated from the 1500 on day 1 in a shock upset as Matthew Centrowitz made the final and Yared Nuguse was sublime. In the women's 1500, Addy Wiley looked great and Athing Mu PRd. Will Sumner returned to form in the 800 where Nia Akins looked fantastic. Courtnrey Frerichs fell but advanced in the steeple.
