Growing cannabis LEGALLY is legal in California. You need to be licensed.
What actually destroyed a lot of the farms in the central valley was a brush fire that was started in a pot grove and then spread to destroy thousands of acres in several vineyards and countless structures.
The federal government has not been doing anything, all the enforcement has been by the state.
Many of the smaller pot growers are being bought out(for good $) by these "corrupt corporations".
