I personally use the nike zoomfly and run around 300-400miles in them before i go out and buy another pair.
Whats your look?

My take on this has always been that it is best to 'feel' it out for when shoes are spent. I always can tell when its time to retire a pair. Also I believe that the longer you are a runner (more efficient) the longer shoes will last (as shown below). I wouldn't worry about, and I wouldn't retire a pair unless something is aching. (as a newer runner I often asked others how long their shoes lasted as well)

Wow! So a great variety of miles within the varietyof shoes!
I think thats a fantastic way of looking at it im all fairness. Hitting the "400" mark in each pair doesnt always determin the "times up" stage. Running by feel u think is definitely the way to go when it comes to running miles in shoes. But i mean with every shoes you shown above theres an average of about 490 miles. Which is wicked
Altra Paradigm 3
Easily get 700-800 miles before I switch em. And when I do, they don't even look that worn out

Really! Thats quite high mileage!
Currently I wear Saucony Triumphs and Kinvara.
But all through the years of running I always go back to Nike Pegasus. So I just ordered the 35 and will switch them back and forth between my Saucony shoes.
I don’t have a certain mileage point but look at the wear of the shoe. I supinate so I wear on the outside edge a bit.
Mostly been running in Pegasus the last couple of years. I don't give my running shoes very much thought but I do track the mileage. Retired a pair of Pegasus this may after running about 1100 miles in them.
Some shoes I’ve used over the past couple years:
Altra One 2.5 — 655km
Asics Gel Nimbus 17 — 976km
Adidas Pureboost DPR — 793km
Adidas Boston 6 — 973km
Adidas Adios 3 — 645km
New Balance Zante 1 — 898km
Just started running in some Hoka Hupana 2s and Nike Pegasus 34.
I just retire the shoe when (a) the upper has fallen apart too much (Boston, Adios, Nimbus), or (b) I just don’t like how it feels on my feet anymore (Pureboost DPR, Altra One 2.5, Zante).
Forgot to mention my favorite pair of shoes I’ve run in:
Nike Zoom Streak 6 — 490km (upper fall apart, sole seemed fine)
I usually put in about 1000+ miles in my shoes before I buy new ones. I'm not loyal to any brand, I buy what I want at the store. Currently running in the ON shoes, good light weight trainer.
Pegasus 33, usually 400-500 miles
Then you much run on grass and have the most perfect form of anyone in the world.
Asics GT 1000's
600 miles give or take a few
I just switched out my Saucony Guide 8s after 985 miles. I usually go 500-600, but these lasted exceptionally long for some reason. I run on sidewalks, asphalt paths, and crushed gravel.
My older shoes are the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12...two pairs, worn on a rotational basis. These are close to retirement.
The newer shoes are the Brooks Ravenna 7 and the Brooks PureCadence 6, worn on a rotational basis; at present, I'm rotating all 4 pairs listed.
Oddly, I push over 800 miles on shoes before replacing them. My take is that rotating shoes prolongs their life. Generally, I wear the shoes until they feel flat.

Cool. I had the Paradigm 1 and they were the shortest lasting shoes I've ever had. They fell apart in like 100 miles and everyone else had problems too. Good that Altra addressed that. Maybe I'll give them another try.
I get anywhere from 200 to 800 miles on a pair. It all depends. Currently have some Hoka Bondi that are going strong after 700 miles and some Hoka Napali that have the rubber outsole bits peeling off after 200 miles.
Think I got over 1000 miles on NB990s 20 years ago. They started out as bricks and stayed that way.
