Looks like Memphis will need to act fast!!!
If true, well that’s a let down after what Lonnie Green did with the 400 group.

Great addition, go gabby!
Seriously, wtf is up with UVA???? Why would a coach resign a week after taking the job. This clearly was a step up for her. Something isn’t right here.

She either changed her mind before she left or got a better opportunity

Have you ever been to SLO? I wouldn't want to leave either.
Brandon Masters to NW Missouri State
Has Furman filled its open position? Seems like a great gig with distance only and 2 programs doing pretty well, but I haven’t heard back. Is it normal to not receive word when you do NOT get the position?
If you aren't a recent grad woman with no experience then you did not get it. They've already done interviews.
Maybe it should not be, but it is pretty normal to never hear from a school if you do not make it past the initial screening. Typically, if you do a phone interview or campus visit they will contact you, but so long after the fact that you know you already know you didn't get it.
A regular DI job will bring in 100+ unsolicited resumes. Some HR departments send out a blanket rejections emails once the job is filled, but you will never really know how much they looked at your resume unless you make it to phone calls.
If you are applying to Furman I would guess you are a GA or volunteer. Keep applying, be persistent and network. It may take a few years. For the jobs you are looking at they are usually wide open in their search, but when you get a lot of applications you narrow down the search by looking at the recommendations from people you trust.

Knowing Rita, I am sure it will be a woman. This may be their 4th coach position, but it is not entry level. I know for fact pay is over $40,000. Balyo (now at Samford coaching NCAA mile champion) was a full coach.
Yes it does pay $40k. It is also a one year position and will be given to an entry level woman.
