Why we should legalize prostitution?

2 reasons.

1, We shoudn't have to pay for it.

2, We shouldn't have to use a condom.

I’m honestly not sure why it’s illegal. If someone consents to sell their body for sex shouldn’t they have the right to do so?

The same people that will tell you women are strong and can do anything are the same people that will tell you women are weak childlike creatures that will be exploited by legalized prostitution.

It's legal as long as you film it.

It's not federally illegal so you can't legalize it.

It comes down to states and jurisdictions.

No one wants it in their neighborhood and no one wants it next to their place of business.

And no one wants to deal with the political fallout when they try to set up legal zoning areas in their district.

So you need to go from area to area and ask for specific places to make it legal there.

There are a few federal laws that govern prostitution, but yes most are state laws.

Here in Colorado we have lots of pot shops so I am thinking a bordello would be accepted as well!

I find it interesting that some feminists I know say a woman has the right to choose to abort a baby because it is her (the woman's) body, but yet do not want that woman to be able to profit off her assets.

We have a form of prostitution now called "dating". I met a woman years back who largely decided what a guy would get by how nice the dinner and wine he bought her were.

I thought about it, and realize you must have thought you typed "Why should we legalize prostitution?" By switching the words 'should' and 'we', it becomes a question.

Do you really know any particular feminists who have stated that?

Maybe it isn't the profit that they don't want but rather the concern for exploitation.

Or frankly they don't want men to have that option to purchase assets.

I truly don't think anyone that is against prostitution is against the woman's ability to make money.

Let's look at the way prostitution normally happens:

* Brothels - not too many of them but no one wants them in a business center or anywhere with high public traffic. That's why it is legal in small parts of Nevada but not in Las Vegas

* Street walkers - not acceptable by many

* Call girls who set up in hotels - Hotels don't like that and the patrons don't want to see that traffic

* Call girls who work at their home - the neighbors don't want that

* Call girls who go to the guy's house - that may be more acceptable except that most John's probably don't want them coming to their house

What is the most acceptable way to transact prostitution?

Maybe some kind of Uber/Airbnb combo would work.

This reminded me to look up SFH's story again. I didn't realize that the smoking gun published a bunch of reviews from her clients a few years ago. Let's just say this, all parties were satisfied. Can't say I see a crime going on.
