Me first,
I've never met someone who loves to lose more than you, you inspire me.
I ran a 56 for first 400, blew up and ran 2:16. Thanks Coach

ran 4:34 in 8th grade championship singing sweet lullabies.
Balls out.
My coach called me at my house the morning of a big race where we were trying to qualify for NCs in a relay.
Asked me if I was ready to go.
Scared the crap out me.
The first and only time he ever called me.
We qualified with the #1 time in the country.
You either win or you lose. you either lose or you win. theres gonna be a lot of losing in this race and theres only one winner. Which one are you? I said which one are you? Are you one of these losers (as kids are doing stride outs before the race). They don't look like winners and if you don't feel like a winner start the bus up fellas this girl scout is going home.
He motivated kids in my race to destroy me. He brought me a box of girl scout cookies every two weeks for my last 2 years of high school.
The Moment of pain is worth a life time of oppurtunity.
I do the steeple chase.
Get over that steeple like you will get over that wall fernando.
Go kick some ass!
They never said it would be easy, they said it would be worth it.
Coach: I slept with your mother, she even made me your favorite dish
Me: *Angry but then runs a 1:56 800 and kicked so hard*
Coach: I was just kidding
'Mama didn't raise no lil b!tch'
Pain is temporary, regret is forever.
When the pack moves at the bell and you don't because you're hurting, you're going to remember that for the rest of your life.
Or not, I don't know, it's just a race. You should probably have other things in your life that you derive pleasure and meaning from. But still, you should run that race hard. Just pay attention to the first part of this post.

Coach: "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. So don't run like a bunch of fembutts."
Burt, if you haven't paid attention all year in class, studied for any test, done any homework. Why would you spend hours and hours of studying for a final?
You wing your final, go ahead and wing this race.
I ran 2:02 with a 8 second PR to place 5th.
I've never studied for a test any day after that & average a 2.8 in college.
