Here's the thing, kf: Things were improving under Obama, too. (No, I didn't vote for him--I've never pulled the Dem lever for any office.) Yet somehow "many many people" (you?) *couldn't* feel that.
Now why do you think that is? Could they have been "liv[ing] in a bubble"--selecting only news sources that supported their biases, for instance?
I'm not just talking about the economy's improvement: jobless rate going down, seventy-plus consecutive months of job growth, the stock market (at least the S&P 500) nearly tripling, yadda. Those have been explored at mind-numbing length and are established facts.
No, I'm also talking about how overall rates of major crime dropped every year under Obama. Did you "feel" that?
