This meet just isn't popping for me. Something's lacking.

Jeilan (a 10000m "specialist") just outkicked Edris and Kejelcha in their 5k specialty.
The ethiopian 10,000m trials haven't occured yet, right?
It's mainly lacking good athletes and depth!
The depth is terrible...

It's terrible weather for sprinting but they could have gone after it in that 5k.

Maybe it was Ethiopian Trials pt. 2 hence it was tactical and no one wanted to risk blowing up
Stockholm crowd terrible - no idea when to be quiet! Poor meet.
Worst. 100m. Ever.
Didn't know Turkey has been recruiting Jamaican sprinters too. Nothing to see here I'm sure
god this is sh1t.
Ghribi is 'rather attractive' shall we say!

This time it was as much the rabbit as anything else. Scheduled for 7:45 and was only 7:54 at 3K. This race they actually went with the rabbits, but the 2nd one (Rono) looked like he was hurting even to get to 3K ... doubt he could've gotten them there any quicker tonight.
Granted after they were on their own, no one tried to push the pace. I think the rabbit pretty much has to take them through 3K well under 13 min pace (7:48 is nearly exactly 13 min pace I think) for there to be any chance of a truly fast race ... the 4th kilometre will almost always lag a bit, even in a fast race (see the 2012 Paris 5000, for example).
Good point, didn't watch the race
I assume everyone else believes Jebet is a blatant cheater because no one seems to care about the insane times she's running this season
Is it just a question of when she breaks the WR?
Hi HardLoper!
Jebet 9:08 FTW, slowing down a lot in the last 1K. Should be a good battle between her and Kiyeng in Rio.
When she starts learning how to hurdle, certainly
Hey TAA!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
