Can anyone work out why Gen La Caze was DQ'ed at the Stockholm Diamond League meet? I just went back and watched as much of the race as they showed - she didn't break, she didn't step inside the track, she jumped all the barriers.
All I can see is with about 200m to go, she stepped out in front of the other Aussie (Hills) and made her move. She very slightly - maybe 1% - impeded her teammate, but it made no difference. Hills was spent and had nothing left.
If that is the reason, it's the softest DQ I've seen. That is just distance racing. I wonder if Gen knows she was DQ'ed, and protested it. Is there a time limit on protests for these meets?
What sort of official would be mean-spirited enough to DQ someone for that?
Gen La Caze - 9.23 - 7 sec PR - and DQ?

Excellent. Well deserved. DL results not showing reinstatement at this stage. -

Think you're funny, huh?
Ever been ranked top 12 in the world in a distance event? -

Nossir
But I have not gotten drunk and embarrassed myself in front of a worldwide audience either. -

So if you do something worthwhile, do people go back and remind you all your mistakes? Is that appropriate?
Ever made a mistake?
Care to explain why this is relevant? -

I don't think Lacaze thought it was a mistake. She told the press she had no regrets but did it to get some "limelight".

That's the flower ceremony?
That's what she was being sledged about?
A bit of harmless fun, a lot of people thought it was a classic moment. -
She is just incredible looking, and keeps on improving on the track.
I want to ask her out at a meet. -

When i was a sophomore in college, a girl 1 year older from the business school really liked me. She was a 10 hands down. Brown hair. Milky skin. Everything a man could desire out of a woman physically. All of my friends were like duuuuude...she is so hot!
Want to know what my [email protected] did? Got wasted. Booty called. Arrived at her place. Went upstairs and got it on. In the middle of the night, I woke up and couldnt find the bathroom so I up and yiss on her bedroom floor. Literally too drunk to remember. She kicked me out and never spoke to me again. Didnt remember much past my arrival and found out from a friend a week later what happened. I had been wondering why she didnt respond to my calls.
She's still really hot and making big bucks in NYC. That was my chance guys!

She wasn't drunk, she did it as a "I'm a show pony, look at me" moment and got flamed by other team members as a narcissist. She's seems to pulled her head in a bit now. -

Not so FoS - Stockholm DL site lists her in the results http://stockholm.diamondleague.com/en/lists_results_stockholm/
Suspect IAAF site isn't updated after the appeal. -
Go Gators!

She was DQ'ed for being too pretty. Not allowed to run that well and be pretty. Lol.
-
She's planning her next stage bomb. I hear she's been taking dancing and drinking lessons.
-
Wait! She PR'd in a Diamond League race! She should get a splash page!
rojo, chill with oppression and inspire your female audience by celebrating this accomplishment. -
She cute (kinda). If she wasn't a fast steeple chic she would be just another C+
