I haven't posted in this thread yet, nor have I been refreshing the page. I think you are the one looking to get offended about something. That is, criticizing people for condemning bad behavior (Rossi cheating, gloating about "getting away with it", hiring a lawyer to go after people, etc).
Mike is quite pathetic, but regardless of if he is DQ'd or not, at least this thread will always be one of the first results when one googles his name. Hopefully Rojo gets around to publishing that article.

Hi Mike
Hey Loser.
You might need to take your mom to the hospital. Tonight was a rough one. She initiated it though, just to be clear. It was sloppy.

Mid-life crisis for mike rossi, maybe patriotic gesture after the Boston marathon bombing, what ever the motivation he set the goal to run in the next Boston marathon he could qualify for.
He made attempts and came up short but, he told everyone that he was going to run Boston.
Having no running background what so ever, this 45 year old had no idea how hard it would be and equally clueless to the type of training it would take to BQ.
He backed himself into a corner and had no alternative (in his mind) so he cheated.
Yes, I used my real name.

That makes sense dude. Good analysis. In addition to the likelihood Mike Rossi ran a 3:11 legitimately being more improbable than winning the lottery based on the LetsRun article and the opinions of two of the most well-known endurance running exercise physiologists in the nation, it's pretty clear from reading his blog and the background on this guy that the incentive was big for him to cheat to get into Boston. I mean Mike Rossi put himself in a position with his social media selfie image where he probably absolutely felt he NEEDED to get into Boston at any cost or risk his whole selfie social media project being a failure and him having to stay home in Philly, etc.
Qualifying for Boston is not easy for someone without much a running background like Rossi as there are no quick fixes in this sport. Rossi and non-runners should realize that most who qualify for Boston with relative ease (myself included and many of whom post on this board) have a competitive HS and/or NCAA xc/track background with years of training under their belts.

Sorry, I spent the day at the lake so I couldn't be around to try and keep this thread focused.

Says a guy called LoserMikeRossi on a Saturday night on the Internet. You seriously live on this thread.
Dude, we are all jokes here right now. Total losers. Accept it hobby jogger.

Yes I saw this too but the timestamps were strange on the pics so they were taken down I think.

I can't find this
I think what's going to happen unfortunately is that Mike Rossi will not be DQ'd. However, Lehigh will take a very slight hit with their dumb decision. If you ask most participants at next year's Lehigh Marathon if they know who Mike Rossi is/was, maybe 3-5% of them will know who you're talking about.
Mike Rossi will still go down as a cheater and will be added to the list of Legends like Kip Litton, Rosie Ruiz, Martin Franklin, Chandra B., et al
Yet you are here wrote:
Enough philosophizing...
Indeed.

They were taken down for some reason. Some RW policy about pictures or having permission if not yours. It's the smoking gun. Somebody needs to contact that poster and get the pix to the RD.

Hahahaha. It would have been the troll post of the decade. Worthy of 100/10, if you had pulled it off and gotten a bunch of people to bite.

Slight hit?
How about no hit. There will be more participants running Lehigh this year than last. 3-5% is a high guesstimate, I would wager it's under 2%.

We shall see. The next daytime results will be posted and we'll know whether there was any hit in participation. And we should be able to tell from the start banner if any of the sponsors had jumped ship.
Maybe if the RD realizes that protecting one obvious cheater is bad for business they will make a new decision regarding Mike Rossi.
There has been speculation that closer to the race some people will make donations directly to the charity, so it is not affected, but with a message that they have chosen not to run because of their poor decision.

I'm speculating that you are a bonafide mental patient.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and volunteer my leadership to this thread. A thread without a leader is like a foot without a big toe. LoserMikeRossi isn't always gonna be here for everyone to watch after us and we're gonna need that big toe.
So lighten up "Pathetic"
