Interesting...she's doing 70-105 MPW...but probably she have her feet so wasted that she knows that sub 2:30 marathon it's almost impossible.

Paula says kind of the opposite. Her goal is to break 2:30.
Gerard Hartmann told us she had the highest pain tolerance of anyone so I wouldn't discount her. It is very hard though to run on one foot. Look at Solinsky.
But if there was a bet, does Paula ever break 2:30 again? I'd say yes.
I also think she'll break 35 this weekend. In her prime, she average 32:10 for 10,000.
Sounds like it is a range of motion issue, not a pain issue. it sounds like they had to do a bone graft and probably fused some things together to support the graft.

Is Ger still working with Paula?
Man, the track in UL is insane when he is around campus. There is Olympian's everywhere. I'd have to do my speed work in lane 7, kind of cool to run on the track with them but incredibly humbling.
With that kind of injury, she should be happy yet with the recreational running, let alone sub 2:30. (With a sub 2:30 in London or NY next year, she qualifies to Rio 2016 because there's no trials in Great Britain, and the time Is good enough to get a spot in the GB team)
Drugs
The doper paula radcliffe.
The drug cheat Paula Radcliffe.
She won't come close to her doped up world record, but breaking 2.5h might be possible

My thoughts exactly.
Athletes need to know when to hang it up.
She and Lleyton Hewitt can compete for Most F__ked Up Foot In Formerly World Class Athlete Stubbornly Trying To Defy Reality...

How long was her ban from competition?
She is off the drugs for good. She is exaggerating the story of her foot injury so people think that's the actual cause of her decline in performance. Funny that she runs high mileage like that, yet complains of a foot injury. You would think she'd back off running if she really had a bad foot problem. I've been around elite runner chicks, and some are complete headcases like Paula. Paula never raced in her later years because of fear that her performances would be so far off her drugged world record and thus people would make the connection of drugs.
You've been around elite runner "chicks," eh?
Chicks.
You sound like a really smart guy. Cool that letsrun has people like you to spread their knowledge. Thanks.

He is about as intelligent as the brojos...
I hope Kara doesn't end up like her, Her foot was soo gruesome to look at, her running again at a high level shouldn't even be a goal. I can tell if it is admirable or pathetic, that these women can't just walk away from the sport instead they have to be dragged away kicking and screaming.

Its really sad , retired , then unable to get on with life , go back to running in the thought that you can make a good story with a come back again , make a few bucks , go out as an also ran. Why not just gracefully retire and accept you have a been at the very top had great career and look forward to giving back to the sport not making a another buck from it.

I love it when a "Never Was" tells us what one of the all-time greats should & should not be doing with their life & competitive career.
