What is the venue for 2014?
And, who's racing? Rupp, Teg, Ritz, Hall, Meb, and the likes... I think not. They should offer more money to get some big names out there. Then the usatf (not the local organization) should front a ton of money for those who make the trip to Worlds! We could get a medal. The women sure put it out there, and at the last World XC champs, they brought home some hardware! Why can't the mendo the same? Are the women more competitive, or in the World Stage the women are not as competitive and our (USA) team just so happens to make some noise
LDOPA is racing.
Watch out, if we don't put up a real team Canada is going to rape us at worlds

OUCH. the only positive the USA is going to have from this group is that Derrick will possibly get to renew his rivalry with Levins.
Both of these guys will be 2 of the very best runners on this continent over the next few years
When are they going to stop having the XC championships in the middle of indoor season?

Indoor is for MD and down. Face it, the rest of the world focuses on cross in the winter, when it makes sense to do so. Our country is indoor-obsessed, and with no circuit or money in cross it will not gain popularity here.
At last weekend's cross race in the Bay Area with a $2000 first place purse, virtually nobody raced. Africans travel to Europe for the same money in cross races.
Quite a shame, really.
Wait, no performance standards? I can be in the National Championships?
is Peter Falcon the son of Joe Falcon, the 3:49 miler?

Would also like to know? Has it been announced?

Pretty much, yeah. How do you think I got in? Surely they didn't just accept me because my name is similar to a certain famous miler.

anyone?
bump
Derrick, Jake Riley, Ryan Vail, and Bobby Mack will contend for the win. My money is on Derrick. Riley (his former teammate) second.
I see that Tegencamp has registered. This line-up is starting to get interesting.

^this ???
i hope ritz runs also, i want 1 (or more) of our guys to get top 15 at world xc, so we can have the maximum 4 runners at the world champs 10000, each country can have a maximum of 4 in each event at the moscow world track champs, so kenya and ethiopia (jeilan won the 10000 in track in 2011 so he is guaranteed) will have 4 and USA has a good shot at 4 maybe rupp (will not run world xc as he is running boston indoor the day of the trials) derrick, ritz, teg someone new?
xc is not a major sport so i'd rather see an outdoor winter T&F series in the southwestern and southern states.
