I am a senior in high school 6'2" average 170lbs. 4:25 mile PR. I have been running very consistent in training over the summer (55mpw) and in workouts. Sometime in summer I experimented with eating more and started feeling consistently fresher. I think I might have started eating even more in the past 4 weeks, not to mention all the juice I constantly chug (carton a day). We also started weight training twice a week. I feel like my body has gotten bulkier in the past couple of weeks, and I have gained weight (weighing in at an all time high of 174).
Diet: I try to eat everything natural. Dinner is usually pasta with some meat. I feel like when I ate more fruit in the summer I would feel leaner.
How can I lose weight while still feeling fresh for workouts and such?
And can any one advise on how I should be doing reps of weights? I've been doing for each set of the circuit 10 reps of 70 pounds (feels decently heavy).
