Boston may not be certified to be counted for the World Record due to point to point course. It can be counted as a world best. All the amazing times from Boston today definitely should't have wind aided or be placed on any wind aided list.
Weather forecasters predicted a tailwind of 18mph for the race; however, how much stock do you put in weather forecasters. They are the only mass profession that most of us know that can be wrong 50% of the time and still keep their job.
