I've run the half @ PV. Not flat. Marathon probably adds 15 minutes Winner 5yrs ago was a high 2:2xs runner, and ran 2:43 on that course |

For a marathon to add 15 minutes it would have to be a verifiable mountain. 15 minutes is a LOT of time. |

Find me any result for this guy that indicates he can run 2:22 on a faster course and I'll be absolutely amazed. The only other results I've found on him include a 2:5x on the same course at least once, and a 35:xx 10k. I don't remember the exact times because, honestly, they weren't memorable. The only amazing thing about him was that he wasn't wearing sunglasses, a fuel belt, or compression socks. I'll just assume his winged-foot tattoo is hidden in the picture. |

Yeah 15 is a bit much. Its a hilly course...and the time of year they run - its warm. Maybe 8-10 minutes? 2006 - Van De Kamp won in 235, recently ran 230 In Salt Lake city (a bit of altitude 1250m) 2005 James Maynard 238; best of 2:30? |
